New World - Announcement [Notice] Temporarily Disabling War and Influence Cooldown Restrictions (12/6 - 12/11)

Greetings Adventurers,

In the 1.8.0 patch, we introduced new Company switching cooldowns:

• When leaving a Company, players will start a 72 hour cooldown on fighting in a War and earning Influence for any Company toward War declaration eligibility. The cooldown begins once a player leaves. Any Influence earned will still count towards the player’s Faction.

We did not intend for the cooldowns to be retroactive and we are very sorry for this inconvenience. In order to help alleviate this, we have temporarily disabled this cooldown until 2022-12-11T10:00:00Z UTC.

You will have 1 day to finalize your company membership.

During the last 3 days, you will need to stay in your final company choice so that when the restrictions are re-enabled on Day 4, your Company cooldown will have elapsed.
